The main objective of our institute is to create wholeness for children and youth with intellectual, developmental & physical disabilities through education and therapy so that the students can thrive both socially & academically.

We are a Special needs school based out of Rabwah, Pakistan with a committed staff focused towards providing best in class education to your child.

OUR TEAM

Presently 35 faculty members are serving in the institution which includes special needs experts, psychology and fine arts graduates, a sports teacher, 2 qualified physiotherapists and a medical nurse. The School is also operating a psychology and assessment counseling unit, a speech therapy unit, a vocational unit, arts unit, a computer unit & a physiotherapy unit |
TEACHING METHODOLOGY

All pupils follow the standard Curriculum which includes basic teaching of Literacy and English, numeracy and mathematics, personal, social and health education, basic science, information and communications technology, arts, physical education, geography, history, religious education.
Each student is assessed by a Cross-sectional team of psychologist, physiotherapist, class teacher and the parents. IEP’s (individualized educational programs) are prepared for each of the students, which are updated every quarter The method of teaching is practical; activity based and supports lifelong learning. Students are also taught basic life & vocational skills. The students are also taken on field trips. In addition Fun filled activities and programs are also regularly arranged for our students and their immediate family members |
THERAPIES
Physical therapy
Physical Therapy is an integral part of a student’s educational program that helps with posture, balance, and safe independent mobility. The Students are seen on a consultative basis, where the therapist works with the teachers and staff to ensure that movement and strengthening are part of the student’s daily routine. Some students also are seen individually in more concentrated sessions to work on range of motion, strength, coordination, and mobility.

Art & Crafts
The school operates a full fledge Arts unit headed by a qualified arts & crafts coach. our students engage in the following activities
- Creative Drawing
- Water colour techniques & ideas
- Oil painting
- Paper mache
- Playdoh & Clay
- Print making
- Recycling craft
Vocational therapy
The school intends to set up a complete and a well-equipped vocational unit to help the students learn practical and occupational skills thus enabling them to be a productive part of society once they graduate.
Currently we are offering a limited vocational set-up primarily due to space constraints in our current facility. The students are taught basics of clothes stitching, embroidery and knitting techniques. Female students also learn beautician skills
In addition the school is also partnering with different employers & institutions to train our students on the following vocational training programs.
Currently 14 of our students are employed as paid trainees actively learning the above mentioned skills.

Psychological therapy
Our school offers a wide range of assessment and treatment options that include cognitive behaviour therapy ,psychodynamic psychotherapy , family and group therapy and other evidence-based approaches. The school provides both short and longer-term intervention as needed.
